OCEAN OF DREAMS - JON KELIEHOR

Ocean of Dreams' moiré-like textures weave a series of musical elements together, revealing and concealing various exotic environments, enchanted landscapes, and performances that are alternately ambient and active, urgent and languid.

The music for ”Ocean of Dreams” was extracted out of an abandoned 1993 audio-book project, revealing it's true identity and pre-occupation with experimentalism, the Luminous gamelan and nature. These elaborately constructed percussion structures are laid out across and within a network of surreal landscapes and contours.

Compositions, performances and improvisations by Jon Keliehor, with additional music performance from percussionist Signy Jakobsdottir and vocalist Jana Szabo. Recorded live at various locations, engineered and mixed at Luminous Studios, in Seattle.
