Five star review in Outside left magazine
" I doubt that with the advent of AI musicians, it will be very long now before it is rendered unnecessary to study and graft to learn to play every instrument in order to create an album like this, but the knowledge that Luminous overcame such personal adversity to do so lends this album a very special quality that you just can’t synthesise into an algorithm. And amen for that! "
I'm totally blown away and humbled by this stunning review in the excellent online magazine Outside left. Here's the link to read it.

Vestibule suite
I have finally finished my classical suite, it's in five movements for various instruments and was composed sporadically over a 2-3 year period.
It's entitled "Vestibule suite " and is my attempt to document the hopes , frustrations and multitude of other emotions I go through being chronically ill, lots and lots of waiting ( hence it's title ), it was mostly composed in bed with the occasional parts written in hospital waiting rooms. I used Staffpad on an iPad pro with Apple pencil and the sounds are Spitfire, Berlin and stock libraries.
I've created a video with some artwork from my friend Bobby Deans ( whose work expresses similar ideas ) and I'm very pleased with it, some of the music is difficult , some is beautiful ( I think ) and it's been a lot of work to get it to completion .
Anyway here's the video of the whole piece , many thanks for liking, sharing, subscribing and commenting
